Admissions

Begin the journey

Admissions are based on current SMS families, availability of places, waiting list position and your child's age — children normally join at Reception age (4–5), with older children up to age 15 able to join depending on availability. Enrolling itself is simple and unhurried: tell us about your family, come and meet us, and we will find your child the right class.

Three steps

How to enrol

Contact us

Tell us about your family and your children's ages. We invite you and your child in on a Sunday morning — to see the school, meet the teachers, and gently find their right level. It is a conversation, never a test to pass.

Fill in the enrolment form

If we can offer your child a place, we'll send you the form. One form covers your whole family — it asks about your children's ages, classes and any medical or additional needs.

Welcome to the family

We confirm your child's class and start date, the office emails you the term's invoice, and they're in — bismillāh.

Fees

Simple, honest fees

Fees are charged per family, not per child — so brothers and sisters cost less together. The school office emails your invoice at the start of each term, and you pay securely online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  • 1 child£160
  • 2 children£220
  • 3 children£300
  • 4 or more children£370

What fees cover

  • Two taught lessons every Sunday morning
  • Qā‘idah, workbooks and classroom materials
  • Small classes with qualified, DBS-checked teachers
  • Trips, competitions and Eid celebrations

The fee covers your whole family, so a second or third child costs less than the first.

No child is ever turned away over money. A 25% reduction in fees may be possible for families facing financial difficulty — speak to us in confidence with Humera Khan or Fozia Derisy.

Enrolment 2026–27

Join us for 2026–27

Places are offered family by family, so the first step is simply to tell us about yours. We'll talk through classes, ages and availability, and send you the enrolment form if we can offer your child a place.

Enrolment closes Friday 22 August 2026 · term begins Sunday 6 September 2026

New to the SMS

Send us a message with your children's ages and we'll come back to you. There is no form to fill in yet — we'd rather speak with you first.

  • One form covers your whole family — please don't submit it more than once.
  • The office will email your invoice once your child's place is confirmed.
